Fr. mathews basketball club

We are Fr Mathews Basketball Club. We are a mixed men’s and women’s basket club with teams ranging from Academy through all juvenile age grades all the way to Super League level.

Our home is the Fr Mathews Arena on Model Farm Road, Cork City.

Founded in 1973 in the South Parish, Cork city, we are an inclusive, multinational and multiethnic club with over 25 nationalities represented. Fr Mathews places paramount importance on having an environment that not only cultivates basketball excellence and a competitive spirit but also prioritises friendship and the joy of the game.
